I think there's a Lotteria near the bus/train station. Maybe a McDonald's in the town but other than that you might be SOL.

The town is "famous" Rolling Eyes for sashimi, and they usually have great shellfish barbecue tents set up for the festival.

Check out the "Grounds Map" at the following link. It is in English and gives you somewhat of an outline of the immediate area around where all the action will be going on. I'm sure it might be a bit more expensive in the immediate surroundings.

The map show an area labeled "restaurants for foreigners" just above where the camp area is located. Not sure if that actually means restaurants for foreigners of the Korean version of it.

Hey, I do remember that "foreigner restaurant" area. It was basically fried chicken, burgers and a few other things served under outdoor tents. You bought it, picked it up and took it to your outdoor table, if you could find one.

It was far from stellar and I'll be eating Korean galbi and seafood all weekend.

Go for the 대하소금구이 (Dae ha Sogum gui) They take a mess of live shrimp, toss them in a hot pan, and cook them live. You can't get better than that. They flip themselves. It might be a little expensive, but it is well worth. I've gone there just for the shrimp, screw the mud festival.
