Hello all.. I have a Nikon D40 I am wanting to get rid of. Its roughly 3 months old. I want to upgrade to a d80..
I am located in Seoul (Near Yongsan Military Base)..

Hey
I'm interested. I was in Namdaemun on Sunday looking for just that. The camera shops there were selling used d40s for 250 000 to 280 000, so I'd offer 200 000 - perhaps a bit more since its only 3 months old.

hey all.. based on the PMs I have been getting so far let me throw in some more comments..
this Cam.. although in superb condition , is a gray market cam.. So no real warranty or anything of that matter. I have all accessories and cables but ofcourse keep in mind body only.
So please take that into consideration when making an offer.. I am not trying to make an absordant amount of money or anything.. just something modest to put towards an upgrade. |

200 is way too low. That's P&S territory. I still see used D50's and D70's and D40's going for 350-400US.
250-280 sounds reasonable.
It's a great little camera, if you're not into dynamic range or enlarging. It's certainly a fun toy to play with, especially with non-cpu lenses. In fact, there's a whole group of people on Flickr devoted to non-cpu lenses, and many of them use a D40: http://flickr.com/groups/365610@N21/ |
