um.....neither is great neither is terrible.

My first school was through Park and it was a good job, but I was the only person I have ever met that hadnt been lied to about the working conditions. I know a few people who also did Park and they were told they wouldnt have to do Kindy and low and behold--- they did.

Footprints I havent taken a job with, however I just interviewed with a job they set me up with and the guy seemed and now I have heard shady things about it so I probably wont take the job.

Both jobs were for Hagwons though. Public school I dont know well

Park English: Yeah, so the school you will be working at is in the center of Seoul, don't worry, you'll be in seoul.

Me: Thanks. I really like the sound of that. I like living in the city.

Park English: The director is really nice. She is really frieindly.

Me: Awesome. I like the sound of that. Sign me up.

I was a bit naive.

The school was NOT in the center of Seoul. It wasn't even in Seoul. It was in Bucheon. The director was NOT really friendly. She was a fucking bitch.

Do what you want.

Park English placed me at a public school I am not happy with and am currently having problems with.

I don't blame them or expect them to mediate the problems. However, I have sent them an email expressing my concerns for placing potential teachers here. My school's advertisement is still on their job listing.

Hey, no hard feelings. I understand they have a job to do as a recruiter. They work for the school, not for me. I didn't expect them to pull the ad. I did tell them not to have potential teachers contact me because I will give a very bad recommendation.

Funny you just mentioned this, I just received an email from Park claiming they could not answer my list of questions that I sent to them a week ago in which they said they would respond, only after I pressured them on their public contact sheet. It seems they do not keep to their word. Footprints have no problems answering questions. I just want to make sure I make the right choice. Evil or Very Mad

I just claimed Park English promises to answer questions , but they do not stick to their word. In their defense I just received an email from them answering some of my questions. They claim they are pressed for time and that they need an application filled out first and even then they could only answer a certain number of questions. My questions is, are they just too small of a recruiting company compared to footprints? Surprised

Park will get you over here, then nothing else.

I arrived at Incheon Airport at 9 pm Sunday night, there was no one to meet me. Finally I called Park agency, the woman basically refused to get off her butt and do anything.

I have visited China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao for business reasons. Never once, did my arranged hosts fail to make plans or meet me.

I had to wait 3 hours at the airport for some old fart to pick me up...then another 3 hours to my apartment.

What bothers me most is that someone from Park [like the idiot woman from Park I was talking to] could of come to the airport from Seoul and assist me.

But, they did not give a *%$#@. They got their commission. Why do anything more.

Be prepared to be abandoned and forgotten off the plane by these agencies.
