I want to know if an EPIK sponsored visa allows you to teach at any location they place you or if I have to get the extra schools and camps added to my visa. Thanks in advance.

No, you dont need to inform Immigration. An EPIK contract covers additional official workplaces. I have asked Immigration about this directly.

Your visa is with the local ministry of education. They can have you work in any public school or building that comes under their jurisdiction.

I was going to ask about this too. The contract says I can work in schools as designated by the POE. It isn't the POE's idea for me to do the camp, though, I'm not even sure if they know about it. (My school knows.) Still okay?

Whose idea is it? Is it at another public school? If it wasn't the POE's idea you will need their permission and your schools. Otherwise you could be seen as breaking your contract terms. If it's at a hagwon you will also be breaking your visa rules.

I'm at a public school, a teacher at another school recruited me for a camp. It sounds like a good deal, so I told her I would do it if she got permission from my school. She called my school. I sense they don't want me to do it (because they are bastards and want to work me to death all by themselves) but I'm hoping it will be hard for them to say no.

Another classic case of different place different answer.. I have both of my schools listed on my ARC. As well as most of the other people I know around the Changwon, Masan area. This coming directly from Immi..here.
