I gave my former school until Monday to give me the money they owe me before I go to the labor board, but assuming they don't I'd like to know about people's experiences with the LB. Do I have to make an appointment? How many meetings should I expect to go to? What kind of timeline am I looking at? I work in Gangnam now but my old school is in Pyeongchon, can I go to a Seoul office or do I have to go to Anyang?

I'm going to call them Monday but I just wanted to know what to expect from people who have already done this. Thanks for any help/advice.

I've never made an appointment. Just walked in and started talking to a caseworker. Sometimes they speak English, sometimes not.

I've always had my cases concluded within 30 days. A former student of mine, who was a Labor caseworker, said it is the law that they MUST have a ruling within 30 days.

You have to go the local Labor office where the school is. Unless you are appealing their decision, in which case you go above their heads to the regional or national office.

Does anyone know where the Anyang Labor Office is located? The website gives this address: 31 Saemmul-gil Manan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do but of course no map or directions .
