| I had a question about a contract and I was hoping someone could help me out. Last year, I signed a contract with EPIK. I had everything prepared for Korea including my E2 Visa. Unfortunately, I unexpectedly discovered that I needed to get my wisdom teeth pulled immediately. I told my recruiter and they said they would be willing to wait a little longer for me to come Korea. However, right after I recovered, a family member became seriously ill and had to be hospitalized. Needless to say, I was not able to go to Korea, especially with all the expenses I had to pay for these unexpected emergencies, so I notified my recruiter. Anyways, I was just wondering. Since everything is going well now and I've saved up enough start up money, can I still get a job in Korea? I didn't actually begin the contract so does it mean that I actually broke it? Do you think I have a chance of getting hired for the upcoming semester despite what happened or did I totally ruin my chances of ever getting hired in Korea because I wasn't able to go last year? |

get a job = yes
get a job with EPIK = maybe not, but worth a try since they have changed administrators and they are not out any money for you. |

| Thanks for the feedback; I appreciate it. I guess I could apply and see what happens. The worse thing they could do is no I suppose. |
