I'm considering as July and August are Bali's best months I get my vacation in August.

This has to be one of the most exotic tropical destinations in the world. It appears it's somewhat similar to Thailand, but even more so one of the most interesting places to see.

Great, great place. Pick up the Lonely Planet Bali and Lombok book, it's all you'll need.

My advice: Stay the hell away from Kuta and Legian beach unless you want to be surrounded by tourists and touts, or you want to go clubbing.

If you are going to visit some temples, buy a sarong and sash before hand to avoid hassles and higher prices.

Don't get ripped off with airport taxis or at Pura Besikah (spelling) temple. Read the Lonely Planet about this.

Rent a motorbike and travel around the mountains and jungle.

Bluebird Taxis are your friend. Kuta and Legian are not all that bad, depends on the season, check out Sanur or Ubud for something more low key. I'd go a driver and car rather than the motorbike, what you save on the latter will be paid in bribes to the Polisi depending on where you drive. Get over to Lombok, too. New boat service from Bali to Gili Air cuts down the travel time considerably.

Cool, the surfs up for you. Enjoy it.

Is 2 weeks enough time or this too much time?
