I want to get my Korean driver's license, but my Canadian one is expired.

I now have to go through all the motions of getting a new license, which includes the necessary 10 hours at a driving academy.

Anyone know of one that teaches in English?

thanks in advance.

Smile

I got my license a year ago, and the 10 hour thing was only practice with another properly licensed driver. My GF at the time signed off on it and I was back in 3 days to take the test.

Has that changed?

not sure....but none of my Korean friends drive and I'm pretty sure my boyfriend wouldn't appreciate me hooking up with a Korean girlfriend just to get free driving lessons.

Laughing

Are there any other options?

I think they run something through NASCAR for the taxi drivers. Civilian drivers must go through special driver/texting/tv watching classes

Why don't you just get your folks to renew your Canadian license and send it to you. My dad renewed mine without me being there. I just had to sign it when I got it.

Well, if you're done beating up homeless people with a tire iron you should give it a whirl.

I would, but it expired a while back, and my parents have since moved to a different province.

Not sure that option would still work. Confused

I can read it. I can understand a bit of it...but not sure, while in motion in a fast moving vehicle, that I'll be able to understand everything that a Korean instructor is saying to me.
