I'd like to find a house/cottage I could rent near the beach for a few days up to week. Ideally, it would be right on the beach, but it seems too much to ask in Korea. The best spots seem "occupied" by the army or fenced to prevent North Koreans from invading... and people in South Korea from enjoying.
Anyway, I'd like to get a place anywhere in Korea as long as it's not overcrowded and it's close, really close to the beach/sea. Does anyone know if it is possible, and if so where? |

| i stayed in a great min bak right on the beach in gangeung a few weeks ago, although i bet the beach is chock full o hangukins now that it's 'officially' summertime... |
