Hey, I'm looking to buy a voltage converter in Masan. I have a couple of eletronics from NA. I've looked in E-MArt and Lotte Mart but I've been unable to find you. Anyone know where I can pick one up? |

Generally, you want to look for a place called 철물점 for converters.
again, that's 철물점(Chul Mul Jum)
Uhm, a naver search (aka hardly comprehensive!) told me about one called "칠칠공사(7 7 0 4)" in Masan, specifically 월포동(Wul Po Dong) near "경동 메르빌(Kyung dong Merville)" buuuut..
Since I have no idea where in Masan you live, try asking around for a nearby 철물점 ^_^
Those box-looking like things where you can plug in up to two 110v cords are around 10-15k won, from what I can remember. |

I had no problem as the nearest shop was a five-minute walk away from my place. It shouldn't be hard to find, just look for one of those shabby shops on the streets with hoses and wires and pliers and all that stuff hanging about.. |

I hate to say it but that's the easy way out. I may waste my entire weekend looking for this thing, but it's the thrill of the hunt and feeling that comes with a job well done once it's done is enough for me. (That is unless, there are any cute Korean ladies out there willing to help me, cause you know...well you know) Anywho. I'm going to start the offical hunt tomorrow. Thanks for the help. |
