I think most of the readers here come from the main ESl countries and the majority of those would have grown up in a house - which considering Korean standards is a hell of a lot of space. I had a backyard etc... as well.
So my question is how much space does a human need? Or perhaps how much space would someone who has had space be willing to give up when considering a place to live for many years?

Also if you lived inan apartment would you require 1) a public park close by, 2) a private park like in "Notting Hill" sort of common garden in hte centre with apartments all around it?

When i look at my place which is about 4*4 m bedroom, 1.5*1.5 Bathroom, and then 1*2 kitchen /walkway to door.
I feel that just over double would be fine in that i would have a living room seperate from bedroom and then Kitchen and Bath size increased( kitchen more than Bathroom) would be acceptable. But also have some nice green space within 4 mins walking.
