Well as the handle suggest, I am a big guy. About 6'3" and a bit heavy set but not so much fat. Was a lineman in HS football or Grid Iron depending on where youre from. I wear a size 15 shoe. I know not to expect much in the form of clothing and nothing for shoes. So that being said, anyone have any ideas of places that might carry stuff my size in or around Seoul? If not what about tailors how expensive are they? I expect to bring plenty but things change and with all the walking may slim down a bit. We are talking like 3 or 4 x shirts mostly because of how broad my shoulders are and the fact I am mostly torso and not so much leg. Any help would be awesome, like I said I know there will be really slim pickings.

Thanks,

BM

There quite a few places in Itaewon which sell clothes for the bigger guys. Lots of military buy their civvies there as well as large EFL teachers.

I have a much bigger problem though, I'm 6"1-6"2 yet unde 145lbs (hope I got the conversion right..) and there its almost impossible to find anything that fits. Anything with a 30" waist stops at the knee...and anything which has the right length has enough room for my brother to squeeze in as well.

You got it right; I have always been a big guy, one of those people who you might call barrel chested? Always have been probably always will be to an extent, play the cards your dealt and do what you can. Thanks for the info buddy, let me know if you need me to bring something with me in August, happy to help if I can.

Welcome to my hell. I have size 15 feet too and finding decent shoes here is nigh impossible. There are a couple places that occasionally have a pair of size fifteens or two in Itaewon. The place for regular shoes is across the street from the Hamilton about a quarter of the way towards the McDonald's. The Nike and Adidas stores always have them if you're into the moon boots they sell these days.

Be thankful you don't have a 38" inseam.
