I'd say better safe then sorry and replace it now. If you aren't leaving until the 26th, you probably have time to do that. Immigration will look at both your passport and ARC card. Also you need to find out whether or not you need a reentry permit or not (This depends on your nationality and where your visa was issued. You should be able to look on your visa and tell though.). |

I recently went to the Philippines in vacation. At Incheon, I was asked to produce my ARC both on leaving, and on returning. |

Drop into your local immigration office.
It takes them 20 minutes (while you wait) to print and issue a new card.
The cost is 10,000 won.
You will need your passport and fill in the application.
AND YES, you WILL need it to get your boarding pass
AND you may be asked for it when you return (registered foreigners don't fill in arrival cards).
Make sure you have your re-entry permit. When you get your replacement card is also a good time to get it. 30k won for a single trip, 50k for a multiple re-use permit.

the wait time for a new arc card is not exactly set in stone. i actually had to wait for three weeks to pick up my new one. however, that was at the omokgyo immigration office. they never seem to make anything easy.
i forgot to bring my arc card when flying to thailand a few years ago. it was a little shaky at first, but it turned out i just had to verfiy my status with the immigration airport at incheon, then i was on my way. |
