If your handphone has bluetooth capabilities, what exactly does that mean? The only thing that I know of is that you can use one of those little earpieces to communicate with. If I get one of those, which I am interested in doing, does it normally cost extra for the service, or can I just plug it in and play? Thanks Tech guys

Plug and play. It is a way for any two (or more) bluetooth ready devices to communicate. My peers and I exchange ringtones, pics and documents via bluetooth. But I've never been able to wear the ear thing. It just seems unnecessary.

I use my bluetooth capable phone to exchange photos mainly. I can, although I don't, play interactive games with other people within the bluetooth's radius (10m on my phone). It also allows instant chat. Oh, it can also sync with your other bluetooth hardware such as your laptop/desktop and printer. Easy to send file documents to print or photos you've taken with your phone to your computer. I love it.

This technology is great...especially for those always on the go (I actually don't like to hold a phone whilst driving). I got my phone (which has bt tech) specifically because of the fact that I wish to be able to answer calls (with relative safety) while riding...

Oh, and it is plug and play. If you get the earphone it'll take some time getting used to...just as with any new type of clothing/jewelry.

!shoosh,

Ryst

I just use it for the ear piece, which I think is the best thing ever! It really depends of what ear piece you get because most of them are actually pretty bad.

I have this model here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-PLANTRONICS-EXPLORER-320-BLUETOOTH-WIRELESS-HEADSET_W0QQitemZ110156443358QQihZ001QQcategoryZ133231QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I paid about $30 for it at Radio Shack. It's a little bit older and I've had it for about a year. I'm sure there are better ear pieces available now, but I'm really happy with mine. Get the ones that stick into your ear. Those that don't create a really annoying echo for the people you're talking to.

What brands and prices of Bluetooth earpieces for cell phones are available in Korea? Any company much better than the others?

I'm also interested in buying a used piece from someone. PM me or see my recent post in the BST forum.

Cheers, BB
