Well its official. Nonghyup Bank online remitance works.. Very happy cause I have to go to Canada on the 22nd but I don't get paid until 25th. I can just transfer cash from back home. I Love it. Limit is 10mil a year if you want more then that you need to go to a teller. |

What did you have to do to set that up T? Did you have to open a special account in person at the branch? I tried to do it online with just my normal account but I gather you need a second account to pay the transfer fee from... |

Thats the stupid part.. You can't use your normal account to transfer.. Nonghyup always sets up Local accounts (Branch specific) So what you need to do is go in and open a NACF account (National account). If you have Internet banking I assume you do, then while your making the account ask to them to add the NACF account to your internet banking (otherwise you can't access that account online).. Also one more thing if you plan to send a 1k home everytime you need to ask them to up your limit to more then 1mil a transfer since Korean won has depreciated. I got them to up my limit to 5mil, I asked for 2 but they gave me 5.. |

what's the number to translation service? I'm in a small town and have problems asking for another bank book. Once I went in for a debit card, it took almost 30 minutes for her to understand what I wanted. I'm moving to Seoul soon..so I think I might go do it there..but I want this all taken of right now. |
