I am planning a trip to this island. I am interested in some camping. Any good camp sites there with shower facilities? Where are they? What are some things I should see and do while there? |

I'd like to know more info about the island too.
Anyone living there who could help us out? |

Take the ferry from Geoje to Oeido Ilsand to see the versaillesque gardens.
Other than that, I know nothing. |

we went there a few weekends ago...it was fun but hotels are pretty expensive... but it looks like you want to camp i would say camp on anyone of the dozens of beaches.... the best beach is gujora beach or the wone that starts with 'w' before it but i forget the name....
there is the POW camp in the middle of the island..... there are boat tours that go to Oedido (where the gardens are) everywhere and they are pretty inexpensive....
i hope you are taking some sort of transportation with you... the bus system sucks.... once everyhour and it takes forever... teh drive is really pretty especially on a motorcycle..... if you have any more questions or want soe more info PM me |

Thanks, yes. I stayed there for 5 days, and just camped on the beaches. Gujora was nice, and the other one you were thinking of was Wahyun. The POW museum was well worth the price of admission. And, I also went to the waterfalls, close to the museum. What a great time. Everyday, I went into the city of Okpo, and bought meats to grill up on the beach. And, I did drive down there, which made it a lot more convenient. |
