So I can't get you tube in English at work or at home anymore. What is the work around?

Top, right hand corner = change the flag from Korean to an English speaking one (Canada, UK, etc).

Works fine for me.

i hate being automatically redirected. If i wanted to go to the korean site i would have entered the korean url instead of www.google.com

and even when you go to www.google.com, It seems like it always doctors the results so that you are more likely to get results from the country where your Internet connection is located...
