So I did the search and found a bunch of threads about the availability of Melatonin here in Korea, and that's great.

But my question is: How do you ask for it? Does it go by Melatonin or is it carried under another name?

I have a 2-day-there-3-day-back (with roughly 28 hours in flight each way) trip to Trinidad and Tobago for my sister's wedding next week and I'd rather not be asleep during the festivities....

(it takes so long getting there and back that I only have 3.5 days actually in the country...that's not a lot of partying/shopping time!)

Thanks in advance for everyone's help!! Very Happy

I found Melatonin at the black market shops. The last time I saw it was at the little shop in front of Hannam Market. I don't know if it is marketed in Korea though.

My best wishes to your sister!

Don't know where you live, but Melatonin is also available in Shinchon. The little black market near Grand Mart near a subway exit.

If you live in Seoul, you can go to Namdaemun market. Just about any of the black market vitamin/toiletries sellers will have melatonin, cheap. 5k for a small bottle.

Thanks for the replies!

I found Melatonin in that large pharmacy in Insadong. I just wandered in out of curiosity and they had it.

It was hassle free and not that expensive (10,000 for 60 tablets).

Hope everyone has a great Chuseok. If you are traveling, I wish you all a safe return.

(and make sure that you are at the airport HELLA EARLY because the lines for security will be ridonkulous)

Smile

Wondering if anyone has found melatonin recently? If so, where? Anyone try around Bucheon or Incheon? Thanks
