I had finally come to an understanding with Vista x64 and was able to get it working pretty much the way I wanted it to with a lot of tweaking. However, I've found that I just can't resolve one issue. I can't shop on Korean websites. I think the problem lies with the Korean credit card software not playing nice with 64 bit systems, because it hasn't worked with XP x64, either.

Is there any way you can think of the resolve or work-around this?

Cheers.

Use the 32-bit version of IE and try running it in compatibility mode?

Shopping on the Korean internet (or banking, etc) is not something I would expect Vista x64 to do well.

From what I've heard, doesn't Vista disallow ALL Active-X? That would rule out using it for just about anything in Korea, right?

To my understanding, many Korean sites require Korean citizenship (you must be pure Korean or get help from one) to use so that might be why what ever site you're attempting to purchase from is not letting you.

Does the site require you to enter your national ID to register and you're entering your ARC #? If so, get a Korean to help you make the purchase.

I would not think for a second Korean systems are not compatible with Vista as Korea tends to keep technically up to date when it comes to internet and systems.

I'd like to know your magic formula spliff. I couldn't get it to work. I'm pretty sure I tried both x64 and x86 versions of IE, too.

Hmm...do you use KEB? It seems to be having problem loading the keylogger-blocking software, and thus I get an error and can't type anything.

BTW - Demo', I like the idea of using the compatibility mode. That sounds like it just could work...I'll have to try on my upcoming 3rd!!! install of Vista.
