Halifax International a good way to save in Euros or Pounds?

I stumbled upon Halifax International based in the UK which is a bank that offers USD, GPB, and Euros savings accounts.

Any of you using Halifax to save money in the more stable GBP or Euro? I'm losing interest in saving in US dollars and want more security. I'm assuming that non-UK citizens can open an online account with them.
