I enjoy viewing a Korean hottie just as much as the next guy but here is an example where in one of Joe Cockers best live perfomances where ability is more important than appearance.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=cbR0kj0rYYA
The Back Street Boys brought this tune back and most likely , most people don't even know where this came from.
I always thought Procol Harum did it first , myself.
By the Way or is it Buy the way, does anyone know how to get Youtube back to English as it defaults to Korean here in Hanguk land.

Your link defaulted to Korean here in LaLa Land too. (not Korea). Take the 'kr' out of the url in the address bar just in front of 'youtube', and try that.
Nice to hear again. |

Ok. I did.
Hit my link and you will see that it changes ( I used the word default loosely) to Korean. |

Ol' Joe is terrific. I saw him in concert in '70 or '71 in Denver during his Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour. High-tened consciousness leads to fuzzy memories. Besides the band there were quite a few other people onstage. One of them was a fat chick stirring a bowl of something. I prefered to think it was Alice B. Toklas brownies. Every once in a while she'd go swirling and twirling across the stage. But her spoon in the bowl kept perfect time. Joe was good, too. (And so was Leon Russell)
I always thought his version of 'I Shall Be Released' and 'Bird on a Wire' were maybe the best things he ever did. |
