I recently signed a contract and await my visa application number but learned today the location of my school has changed. The employer has asked me to sign a new contract. Is the old contract voided? Can they still hold up my visa if I refuse the relocation? I have read that a refusal of the employment offer after sending in documents requires a waiting period for the visa to expire. How does it work when the employer still has all my documents and I haven't received a visa application number?
Thanks in advance for the feedback

IF they have acquired a visa confirmation number for you then you will have to wait 90 days for it to expire before you can get a new one.

EVEN if the job cancels, changes or voids the contract, immigration will make you wait till it expires.

It will probably take you that long to get a new set of documents to replace the ones the school has now that you can't reuse again anyway.

Wow, so I am on the hook or on the bench for 90 days. Pick my poison. Thanks for the input.
