My mom bought the Magic Bullet which has turned out to be pretty cool. Those Sham-wow things look useful too, for traveling or hiking. I ended up buying a Ped-egg to which is useful, but I got in Target and saved on the shipping.
My mom also loves the Oxy Clean guy. I don't know if the infomercials for those products are just in America, but he sells like 5 Oxy Clean products. |

I'm not going to tell you what I thought of when you said your mom bought a magic bullet. |

My mom bought me one of these from an infomercial before I moved into my second apartment, and I still use it to this day.

We bought our computer from GS home shopping, and an electric drill. They have good deals sometimes... |

My Mom bought a George Foreman grill several years ago. I have it now and it works freaking great! |

I actually saw Sea Monkeys advertised on Korean T.V.once. That's gotta be one of the oldests biggest scams of all time. I can remember them advertised in comics. The advertisment gave them real humanoid looks.
I can imagine all the crying children when they find out its the Brine Sprimp that goes into Kimchi. |

Don't waste your money buying the plastic pasta cooker that you just add hot water. A $1 juice/soft drink pitcher works just as well.
The handle on the pitcher makes it much easier to work with. It's short enough to go in the microwave if the water needs reheated. Drains/rinses much easier too. The lid on the tv one pops off unexpectedly and you can end up with spaghetti all over the sink. |

I got suckered by this when I was a kid. I kept stirring and never did see anything. |

Back 8 or 9 years ago, I bought that Oxyclean I saw on the shopping channel one night. Best money I ever spent. (This was before it was available in the stores.) That stuff works wonders and I saved a ton of money on dry cleaners and on those power carpet cleaners you rent in the supermarkets back home. It works.
I wouldn't mind some more if I could find it here in Seoul. |
