where to find em?
my situation is this: im visiting the DMZ next weekend and I need a decent collared shirt with sleeves, something i didnt bring to korea and rarely wear in canada. being a fashion bum and a major stinge, i dont see why i should pay more than 10,000 won at the most for a nice collared shirt that fits the DMZ's dress code
where to find that? |

Major stinge is right. Check the sale racks out front of many stores or the street vendors -- you'll find something cheap good for a wear or two. Maybe get your head around the idea youre being paid a fair middleclass wage now & you can afford to dress accordingly. What an up to discover you dont have to be a bottom-feeder anymore. Been there. Why not treat yourself to something nice & durable? Most Koreans hand their used goods over to charity or garbage. |

i dont like spending much at all on clothes. i dont think anyone notices that almost all of the clothes i wear are second hand and were purchased for less than $10 at value villages in canada. nice and durable is the only thing i buy, and i can always find what i need and whats lasts me for about $5 at used places. |

The real question here is, "What the hell is your job if you do not own a collared + sleeved shirt???" |

Better yet how did you ever manage to get a job without wearing such shirt + a tie. (in Canada I mean)
They say "clothes make the man" - wonder what kind of man you are? |
