I'm interested in knowing what it will cost to move a 4 pyong A/C to a new place. If it matters, it's about a about 1 km from one place to the other. I think I may have been given an inflated price. What have you been charged?

Thanks.

4 pyeong is a small room, therefore I'm assuming it would be a small a/c unit. Couldn't you just take it in a taxi, possibly in the trunk or back seat?

Moving the A/C shouldn't be too expensive but installation can cost you since they'll charge you for materials as well as work put in. The most expensive part is the copper tubing so if you can get some yourself it should cut down on the cost.

What might it cost to install the A/C (inside & out)?

Thanks.

The determining factor is the distance (and therefore the length of the tubing) between the outside unit and the inside unit. Without knowing that, it's impossible to say how much it'll cost. It could be up to a few hundred bucks.

Ok. Thanks. It would go pretty close outside. If the tubing is reusable, they could use mine. Mine is long, and they charged me and extra 10,000 won per meter (about 3 extra meters I think he said) and mine runs from a second floor unit to the ground (not in a straight line). Presumably this one would have been put on brackets right outside the window.

In any case, I think it's a moot point.

I have a 4 pyong A/C for sale in Wonju, Gangwon-do....with lots of tubing. Very Happy Available at the end of the month. PM me with an offer if interested.
