Anyone got their hands on it yet?

they don't have it. |

I have a Xbox 360, not a Wii, but I've been thinking about getting one of these guitar games. The thing is, I've heard that Rock Band is much, much better than Guitar Hero. Can anyone confirm or deny? It's easy to get Guitar Hero for the 360 but Rock Band isn't available yet over here... |

I think people fall into both camps. Certainly, if you have access to a couple of friends to play with regularly, Rock Band is probably more fun. (I haven't played it, but it seems reasonable enough, most games are more fun with friends.)
Guitar Hero is also a blast, however. (I do own this.) I got a Wii back in February in the U.S. and picked up 5 games to go along with Wii Sports. All the games are good, but Guitar Hero is easily the one I played the most.
Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with either. Additionally, if you still can't make up your mind, Guitar Hero: World Tour is coming out in October and had additional instruments to play like Rock Band.
Aside: How far have you all gotten in Guitar Hero? I'm on song 28 in the Hard difficulty setting. (Can't remember the title offhand, and don't have it sitting here in front of me.) |
