Will start with the usual discalimer about searching this issue forst, LOL. After trawling thru many pages I found nothing specific to my question.

My company gave us the tax rebate at end of year etc so no worries about tax having been paid. They also told me I can go to the local tax office and apply for a tax refund for this year as I am leaving soon.

SO...my q is...if you have done this when did you get the cash? I expect it was a while as they are gonna add in the tax paid on final salary.
