I'll be the last to defend strip searches and dirty cops, but I must wonder: Did the Korean student treat the Swiss cops like Koreans treat Korean cops? If so, I'm not surprised the beat him. |

I think pendulum has swung too far to the pansy side for K-cops. In the heydey of university protests. The students were burning cops alive, and the riot squad were burning students alive. If you get arrested, you just hoped that you wouldn't end up in the hospital. But, I guess the police went all out to improve their image and ended up lazy and a bunch of wussies afraid to get the general population mad and actually enforce the law. |
