So happy, just off home to start my summer break. Don't come back to school until August 26th. Sadly I'm not going anywhere because saving is the priority right now. Still, I like chilling at home.

Anyone else just hanging at home for the summer?

I get to start my first hideous week of mandatory summer camp on Monday. You lucky *beep*! Very Happy

If I had the time off, I'd be hanging out at home. But I don't. You bastard. Laughing

I have a month off in August. I'll be in Japan and Thailand for most of it though, but it will be nice to do nothing at home in between trips.

I have summer camps, but I still have a few weeks off inbetween. I'm going to Tokyo for four days and studying Korean for the rest!

Yeah, for me too, officially ended last night when we went out to dinner to celebrate the completion of the immersion program. Done till Sept.! Weee!

I'm a homebody, I'm usually either at the gym or the computer (so nice to be able to do long workouts). Right now as I type this I promised myself I'd be listening to my Korean mp3s and studying.

So time to hit the books!

One thing I plan to do is start cooking more. I can cook pretty well, but I just can't be bothered when I get home from a day at work. Way too much fast food lately!

I just cancelled the 6:30am morning call on my phone. Won't be needing THAT again for a while. Oh, that felt good.

Yeah, I'm home this month too.
Draz's avatar, btw, is Phillip Seymour Hoffman snorting up a cute little Peruvian albino kitten named Flake, I think.

Just two more teaching days and the closing ceremony and then I'm on a plane South!!!

All in all it's been a very successful semester. This last week before vacation gets me down though. It's either watch a video and feel like you're wasting time or try to do something interesting and interactive while dealing with the most impossibly stubborn students possible. They're in vacation mode already, tests are done, grades are finished, and as far as they're concerned they should be allowed to run wild.

Anyways, two weeks in the Philippines and then another at home studying Korean. One week of away camp and one week of half days teaching at my school and then it's back to the regular grind.

Oh how I wish my school could be renovating their bathrooms again this year. 5 weeks to go backpacking while being paid was just too sweet last year.

I'm going to my real home for a month starting next weekend. After a few years here with no real vacations it will be time well deserved and spent.
