Are you talking about Gochujang (red pepper paste), to Koreans it's not hot sauce, it's just the sauce they use on every single dish ever created in Korea!
It's in about every store in Korea, Lotte Mart, Emart, etc...
Or are you looking for something more specific? |

Like Franks, Tabasco Buffalo/Habanero/Chipotle, Texas Pete, Cholula.
Basically anything other than regular Tobasco |

| You should be able to get some at a store somewhere in the city where you live. |

Not at 7-11 or the Circle Ks or Korean FamilyMarts.
Can't find them in Buy the Way either. |

I found Chipotle Tobasco in the Hyundai dept. store food section in Apgujeong a few weeks ago. |

you can find some of those in itaewon.
if you want real hot sauce like mad dog/blairs/etc., you have to have it shipped in which is a pita. |

| check the multitude of foreign food marts near helios. also the little bodega-style marts in hbc have a surprising selection as well. there never seems to be any rhyme or reason to where carries what, so you would just have to poke around and see what you can find. |

I've been looking for Cholula too. I used to see it, but can't find it lately. The supply of imports is very hit or miss and I think you just have to keep checking for it and eventually you'll see it everywhere.
A few weeks ago at Foreign Food Mart, I saw one large bottle of a flavored Tobasco (maybe chipotle). Didn't buy it because I'm holding out for Cholula. |

| Texas Pete is excellent with burgers and chicken. I've never seen it in Korea. |
