So a couple friends and I have been offered positions at Kids/Teens Club in Changwon, GEPIK (public school), and Like school in Daegu. Does anyone know anything about any of these places? For first year teachers would public school be better? How is it living in a satellite city of Seoul (for GEPIK)? Any information would be greatly appreciated! |

I was more curious about school information than basic differences b/w hagwons and unis. |

I worked at Kidsclub/Teensclub. They paid on time but that was about the best I could say.
Total organised chaos as far as the Korean owner/management was concerned. The other foreigners there were/are cool though.
Be prepared for a lot of "dong-shim" incidents as it's a kindergarten! |

Hmmm, so maybe GEPIK would be a better option. My only concern is with living in a satellite city of Seoul. I have heard good things about Changwon, especially that it is cleaner, and have not heard many good things about living 30 min. from Seoul. I'm not sure where exactly we'd be yet, but I imagine we'll find out in the next couple of days. I'm also waiting to hear back about a position in Ulsan, which I have heard pretty good things about. |

'Like' is a franchise.
You need to find the branch in question and ask specifically about that location. |
