Here is my problem ( I have already pm this question to someone else, but I will put it here also).
I will graduate by the end of this month but due to me not filling out the paper work I will not get my diploma until FEB 09 but on my transcript it will state that I have an undergrad degree from my school.
Will the public schools accept this (transcript) or do I have to wait until FEB.?
The person that I pm does not have to reply |

SOL. You need the actual Degree or a notarized copy of one in order to process your visa. I don't believe it matters if it a Public school or Hagwon. |

I had the same problem, but I had the dean of my college type and sign a letter on college letterhead stating I graduated and explaining that diplomas were being mailed.
I had it notarized an apostilled, sent it to the ROK and received my visa number. When the diploma actually arrives you need to show it. |

That is good to here. Do you work at a public school or Hagwon? And I wonder if this was the whim of an immigration officer, and would be different with any other officer that accepts the documents. |
