http://www.ahskorea.com/ - they're registered psychologists from Canada and the US working in Seoul serving the expat community. They would be a great place to start and could help you find a decent psychiatrist if you still wanted to take medication. However, they seem to have a lot of experience with living and working in Korea and may be able to help you work through the issues. They also do phone counselling, so you don't even have to leave your apartment. If you search on this board Harpeau, a trained counsellor in Seoul, has posted lists of other therapists available for English speakers, most of whom reside in Seoul. I would try this approach before you meet with a Korean psychiatrist. The state of the Korean mental health system is abysmal.
