Did anyone else go?

It was a friendly match for the South Korean team warming up for the Olympics.
I was invited along with 40 of the students from my school and a few teachers. A local businessman paid for tickets, transport to Ansan, dinner and even a ruck sack full of sweets and drinks for each student and me. Really really good, especially considering it was the first match I've been to in Korea. He even threw in free beer for the teachers. That was a first for me because alcohol is banned at English football matches now.
Nice to see a good turnout for the match and really good support as well.
Although I doubt Korea will get much further. They played well but didn't create clear cut chances.
But that said great night out!! |

Guatemala is South Koreas first foray into building an empire. There is something like 200,000 (and rising) South Koreans living in Guatemala. |
