No, unfortunately not.
have a look at this website, click on lump sum refund payments, question heading "Who is eligible for a Korean Lump-sum refund?"

Also in order for you tax to be properly calculated when (and if) you resume work in the UK you will need to fill in a P85 (assuming you did not fill one on before departing for Korea) and a P86 on returning to Britain.

I've went through all the hoops to try and get out of losing all this pension money. It can't be done.
UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland do not have the same agreement as the US, Canada and S.A.
I get the feeling it's just that our government simply hasn't got around to it. It sucks. |
