Wow, I feel like I just got raped.

E-bay price to sell $300 worth of blu-rays: $18.86
Pay-pal charges to use paypal: $14.20
Shipping charges US MAIL: $55.00 with $5 insurance

I'm done using E-bay for selling. Just not worth it. Same with Paypal. And I won't be shipping anything international anytime soon. Had to send them to France. They don't allow standard shipping by US mail anymore. You must pay expensive priority charges.

Isn't it customary to make the buyer pay shipping and handling? You could have had yourself a tidy $4 profit!

The buyer should be paying the shipping.

You are right, paypal and ebay is a big ripoff.

For small ticket items, no, it isn't. The nickle and diming with their fees just kills any profit margin you may have had. Selling my comics and a few other bigger ticket items went a lot better, but yeah, eBay is not really the place for selling (especially from Korea).
