|
|
Heres my question:
1. I've taught over a year in Korea already, but went to Taiwan a month ago, and now decide to come back to Korea and re-apply for my E2. (Korea is where the money is at!)
Is it okay for my Mom in Los Angeles California get my Local Criminal Background Check, notary, and apostille? I have sent her a letter with my identification and official signature, to release my CBC to her. Do I have to do notary and apostille in person or is it okay for my mom to do it with my written consent?
Thanks for your help. |

Notarization and apostille is not dependent upon your identity at all. They certify the identity of the signer of the document, who would be a police official. So, it's perfectly fine for your mom to get it notarized and apostilled. |

Shit, I was just thinking of looking into Taiwan. Should I scratch that country off my list?
Perhaps it's time to look into Europe. |
