| Somebody posted a while back that they were modding their Korean Wii in Yongsan. I'm not sure who it was. |

So how much is a modded wii in Yongsan? Is it firmware upgradeable?
Do they still have the sh!t launch games or any newer games for sale? |

I am not sure what chip they are using but you can now get your Korean Wii Modded in Yongsan. Cost me ₩100,000. It shows up as "Home Brew Channel" in the Wii channels which you choose first, and from their load the game disk. It loads "Gecko Region Free" software from a memory stick in put into the front of the Wii.
They also have a collection of games 10,000 Won each, both English and Japanese. Tiger Woods 08 and NFS Carbon both worked find, though their Madden 07 get hung up and never works. I noticed this Mod or my TV does not work with some games downloaded...something about the 50/60hz thing maybe, or Pal/NTSC perhaps. |
