|
|
I have to repair my washing machine. I just told my building that it's busted. I have no idea why it started acting up. It would shake at a certain cycle, and then later at times it would stop and the computer would malfunction. I am wondering how much it's going to cost me to repair that thing. Does anyone have any idea? Would it cost me 100,000 won? What does it involve? Will they have to remove the machine and take it somewhere? Did this happen to anyone?
Thanks... |

Look for the service label on your machine, it should have the number of the service center. Have a Korean friend call them for you.
I don't know how much it will cost, but it could range between 10,000 won to 100,000 won (or more). Most of the time, they can fix it right there. |

The building lady called. They will come on Wed. I can handle 150,000.
After all, a pair pants has been ruined, because it wasn't working properly, and plus I want to be able to finally have the darn thing fixed.
I complained once, but there was a language barrier, and I showed them how the machine went out of place because of shaking and this guy just pushed it back which didn't solve the problem, but this time I am more determined to get back in complete order |

Check the bracing under the machine. If it's shaking it helps to put two boards down to ground it, give it footing. And you could be loading it up with too much clothes. Then, on the spin, the whole thing shakes or shuts down altogether. |

No, something's wrong with the machine. I don't put that much clothes in it. I only put a few things in there. Plus, the computer malfunctions. I hope it won't cost me much. |

I know a girl who had a washing machine prob recently. She got her school to phone a serviceman, who arrived the next day, and it only cos about 30,000 won for a replacement part. Quite cheap indeed.
Of course, the price will depend on the particular problem so it's hard to estimate your potential price. |

Are you sure you have to foot the bill yourself? (I just call the building owner of anything breaks down here that he provided.) |
