|
|
I have only been in the country 4 weeks and thought my scheduled holiday was in a couple of weeks. I found out yesterday that my last day is on Friday and I wont have to be back till the 18th of August.
So it hasn't really left me with much time to plan anything. I'm guessing I'm restricted to Korea unless you can get good last-minute flight deals from somewhere?
So if I am restricted to Korea, where can you recommend? I'm not really interested in going to other cities, countryside scenery and seaside is good. |

If you aren't an anal-retentive type, just search online for whatever ticket is the cheapest and head there. I just got back from a trip to Beijing, which I had never thought of visiting until it was the only cheap round-trip ticket I could find. The Korean travel frenzy season is winding down, so you might be able to find some decent fares again. |

do you know of any websites that I can just put travel dates in and departure airport and it wil then just list the destination cities and fares. We have a website like this for budget flights in the UK, it's great at just finding the cheapest possible flights if your willing to go anywhere. |

Poemer,
Would you mind telling us what you paid for the round-trip flight to Beijing?
Thanks |

Tickets to Shanghai and Nanjing are reasonably priced at the moment, coming in at around 500 all-in with visa. |

Korean Ambition,
Sure, no problem. Round trip tickets were something like 340,000 won, before taxes etc.
I should mention, however, that the visa cost 130,000 won and had to be gotten through a travel agent.

Wow, that's a lot of taxes. Now that I think of it, I was informed that a couple of days after I bought my ticket new fuel surcharges were going to be added onto all tickets, but that is a big difference! I paid a lot less than that in taxes on my ticket, maybe 50,000 won or something. |
