For CRC's directly sent from the Canadian police to the embassy

Do you have to email or call the embassy before you do this or do they just call you?

Dunno how it works.

Thanks

my cops wouldn't send it to the embassy, they said it had to come to me personally. that was local PD though, not RCMP, and not federal RCMP. I am guessing they'll all have the same sort of thing going though.

If your cops do happily send it to an embassy, I'd recommend calling it first to tell them it's coming. Why not, after all? They probably don't care, but it might shorten your waiting time at their office, when you go to get it stamped, if they know when you're coming.
