Can anyone post questions that the recruiter might ask the individual applying? As for the interview with the school, what questions would the school directors/owners ask?

I'm going through the same thing right now with recruiters and schools, so I'll share what i've experienced so far.

With recruiters, I haven't really felt like I was being interviewed, it's been more like conversations about what I want (where, when, how much...) They go over what you need with regard to paperwork, and answer questions you might have. So I wouldn't be too nervous about speaking with recruiters.

I've interviewed with one school so far and it was a breeze. I was pretty nervous about it, but just sound enthusiastic and speak as clearly as possible and you'll be fine. She asked one question about my teaching experience, which I don't have any of, and she didn't really care too much. She spent most of the time talking about her school and the area. Then she answered some of my questions and it was over in 15 minutes.

That's my experience so far, good luck.

Same experience with the recruiter... just asking what kind of job I want etc

When I was interviewed by Korean teachers at the school, they were basically asking what I wanted to know about the school and were trying to sell the job...

When talking with a foreign teacher at the school, they were trying to get a feel for my personality and if Id get on well with them and the students at the school...

This is where Facebook comes in handy.

Just remember, you can hear a smile through the phone. Smile
