|
|
Was in a restaurant the other day which had proudly plastered multiple colorful stickers on the menu board saying that the beef, pork, kimchi were all korean products (국산).
Not sure if every case is legit but is there any restaurant out there that would dare put a sticker or notice up saying otherwise nowadays? (Australian beef might be the best bet)
If you see it then let us know so we can support the most honest restaurant owner in Korea.
Again I am looking for a non-Korean country sticker etc ... |

So go print some up that say "100% US Beeef" (with the extra "e" of course) and stick them overtop of the ones on the menu... Reinsert menu at another table and watch hilarity ensue |

I went to a beef restaurant last week that had mostly Australian tags, but one soup was a mix of Australian and American beef. |

A lot of Canadian beef is sent to the US for slaughter. Does this also become 100% US beef? |

It's a non-issue, at the moment. The US beef has not arrived in any great quantity. Wait a month and it'll get stoopid. |

I saw a sign in a restaurant saying that the meat was from New Zealand last sunday. I could go photograph it, but I'm too lazy. Remember, protectionism in general has a lot of fans in Korea, but it's specifically U.S. beef that makes people lose it. |

Been to a couple of places advertising "clean and safe" Australian beef. |
