I never thought I'd have to ask because usually I know right away where I want to visit but now, unfortunately, I'm stumped...

Thailand and the Philippines are out - fantastic countries but I have done them already and really want to go some place new.

1. Timeframe would be after Aug 8th until September 1st.
1. I like it hot. Very hot. In fact, the hotter the better.
2. Beautiful beaches are a plus.
3. Some sort of nightlife is a must.
4. A bit of a last minute trip but less than 1,500 USD/ticket would be ideal.

Looking to relax, eat a lot, dance to work it off and basically forget about Korea for a few weeks.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Turkey.

You could fly Incheon to Istanbul for under $1500 US return including all taxes. Tour some of the Black Sea / Mediterranean seaside cities. Plenty of nightlife in Istanbul.

For some fun side trips, catch the ferry from Turkey to Cyprus or an overnight train to Greece.

All easy, visa-free countries.

Thanks. I thought about doing something similar - cruise of both Turkey and Greece but it was a little outside my budget. I'll check this out though.

I bet you end up going to Thailand or the Philippines like everyone else.

While you would lose that bet, I will admit it is very tempting. But, there is nothing better (in my opinion) than seeing as many new places as possible.

Gotta keep things exciting!
