I would like to go see a dentist and get a routine cleaning. I am wondering how much this costs and if anyone can recommend any dentists in Seoul? Is there such a thing as dental insurance here in Korea? I'm assuming my NHIC insurance won't cover it. |

i use mee international in hannam-dong. beautiful place, great service, really good prices (especially for the service). it's more along the lines of "boutique" dentistry. not sure about the cost of a cleaning, though. the front desk staff speaks perfect english and the hours of operation make for flexible scheduling.
tel.: 795-1500

One of the most expensive, but most professional and English-speaking clinics is the Seoul National Uni Dental Hospital in Hyehwa out of exit 3. All the info is on their webpage. Cleaning plus x-rays plus consultation is around 150,000 (or maybe it's 120,000?) NHI does cover a small portion. |
