hi peeps. need some advice.
i work in public school which is okay. so far, i've just done a year and have just re-signed. my contract is at immigration and my new visa should be ready tomorrow.
however, this morning, the supervisor at my office of education is dicking me around saying my pay level is too high ( its not ) and just generally being a bitch. i like my school but can't be arsed with unessacery stress.
the long and short of it is, if i decide to leave here next week with another firm job offer, how does it stand with immigration?
The job i have in mind doesn't start for a month so there is no issue contract wise.
just wondering what my options are.
happy summer!

Your contract is at immigration, I assume with your salary on it. She can't change that now. Which office of education is it?

gyeongsangnam.
aye, she'll have a fight on her hands about any salary change and she'll loose but i just can't be arsed with the fact that the woman is being a dick. changing jobs of course comes with a lot of hassle. at the end of the day, my school is okay but she is top dog and her attitude towards westerners is rubbish. i can't be bothered with the threatening and saying one thing but doing another. i left hagwons to avoid this but its now making me think that it's inherent in this whole country.
( i don't want this to turn into a korea bashing thread, i just need a holiday!)
my job and salary are safe, that i know, but i was just wondering about the changing of visa things before my new contract kicks in ( end of August ) as far as immi goes.
