To make a long story short, the power box/brick thing from my laptop cord got water in it somehow. I tried to dry it out but I can't seem to charge my laptop with it anymore!!
I know the part of the cord that goes into the socket can be replaced here in Korea, but what about the black box/brick part of the cord that connects into the laptop?? Is there any where I can get one? Yongsan? Or do I need to get one from the U.S. which is where my laptop is from??

The black box/brick says its 100 - 240v, 50-60Hz if that makes a difference...not sure.

Please, oh please help....

Bring the broken power block with you to Yongsan electronics center and ask around for one that matches the power output in volts.

What'll be most important to determine is the output voltage, amperage, and polarity. That's what you'll need to know to replace the transformer (the black box). There should be a label that gives the VA information, and a little diagram that shows the polarity of the plug.
