My iRiver T10 Junior has gone wacky. The scroll bar is stuck so I can't listen to music or anything. I kind of want to buy a new one that plays videos and has a much longer battery life than the one I have now. I prefer iRiver to iPod because it seems simpler to use, especially since I don't have a computer of my own and I'm just hopping around from computer to computer. Any suggestions? I don't care about buying slightly older models. I was looking at the E100 but I'm not sure it plays movies, it plays videos at 30fps (which means nothing to me), It's only 143 000 at Lotte Mart for the 8GB one.

Oh...and what do I do with my old one?

If you are paying up to 200,000 for a song it better be a damn good one

It's an mp3 player, an mp3 is an audio file format

x2. Extend your budget to 210,000 won and get a 16GB Cowon D2, with an SD slot for further expansion possibilities.

The D2 is my constant companion, been using it a lot as a USB drive as well as a movie player since my computer went down.

Is it easy enough to manage? Just drag and drop music files, or do you need a program?

I imagine it's real easy. Save urself some $ and don't get DMB. You'd only want that if u were Korean or liked Korean TV. K-TV sux!

Does the Cowon D2 have DMB? Couldn't find that...I'm really planning to get one of these soon - they look amazing for that price!

They have with or without. With costs more but not a whole lot so.

Thanks...might be nice to have it to pretend I'm going to use it to study Korean..or might just save the pennies and get the non-DMB one.

I don't find DMB useful especially overseas which was why I didn't get the D2 with it, you don't really need it unless you watch a lot of Korean TV.

That said, the D2 is handy as a music player and good enough as a video player, the screen is a little small but its pocketable and that is key. I find the software for it erratic and sometimes screws up the filenames, and I wish I didn't have to convert every video for it.

Which is why I'm considering the new Samsung phone that's coming out with DIVX playback.

Have a look at the iRiver Clix2, which is just as good IMO (its navigational one piece button is very clever).
