| I want to go there this weekend but I'm not sure how exactly to get there. A Korean guy I met on a hiking trip recommended it to me but I can't get in touch with him. Has anyone been there? I think it's in the Sobaek Mts near Chungju. Thanks. |

You are looking for Mun Gyeongsae Jae. It's a park on highway 3 about 45 minutes south of Chungju. I imagine there is a local bus from here (Chungju) that goes out there. It's a beautiful area and even semi-deserted on the weekends being so far from anywhere. Be sure to check out the energy efficient house/ecological museum thing.
Once inside the Chungju bus terminal there's a tourist information booth across from the up escalator to Lottemart, which is around the corner from the local products store.
There is probably also a bus from Cheongju. |

| New information! There is an express bus from Chungju to Suanbo and another from Suanbo to Mun Gyeongsae Jae (Jo Ryeong San). I conveniently had lunch with the Suanbo tourist booth lady. It's around 30 minutes to Suanbo and another 20 to MGJ. |
