So here's the problem, my best friend is getting married in September. I need to get measured for a Tuxedo, but I don't have a clue on size. I can't use any previous coat sizes since I've lost over 30lbs while packing on lean muscle mass.
So, I need to get measured by a tailor here. So are there any western tailors that I can get good measurements from?
Any ideas? |

I'm in the same situation as you. My best friend's wedding is next month so I got measured in Seoul by a tailor. Just walk in to any tailor and say you'll pay them to measure you.
Then, when you fly to the wedding, get measured at the rental place as soon as possible since different tailors might have slightly different standards for measurements.
That's what I did/plan to do. |

I had to do that for my sister's wedding a few years back. If you go to Itaewon you can have one of the suit makers take all of your measurements and write them down for you. Then, email it to someone who can give it to the place in the US.
I went to two different places to make sure they were taking the measurements correctly, and one guy charged me 10,00won and the other guy did it for free. Worked like a charm. |
